Since 2011, a music week for talented children and young people aged 10 to 18 has been held in the last week of the summer holidays. Since 2017, the talent week initiated by the Dreilinden Conservatory Association and Eva-Maria Neidhart has been organised by the Festival Strings Lucerne. The coordinator is Regula Dodds, member of the 1st violins of the Festival Strings Lucerne.

Participants are taught solo playing and chamber music (duo, trio and quartet) and have the opportunity to work with a professional piano accompanist. There is also a daily rehearsal of the Talent Strings led by Daniel Dodds. The two assistants help with practising and look after the well-being of all participants.

This special kind of music week is intended to give the participants an important impetus for an intensive and enjoyable exploration of the instrument and to motivate and inspire them in the long term by making music together with like-minded people.

In addition to the daily lessons and chamber music rehearsals, a varied supporting programme is offered.
